Introductory day 'Belbin Team Role Management' - September 16, 2021, Aalst

An introduction to Belbin's Team Role Management

  • A thorough introduction to Belbin's team role model
  • A thorough analysis of your own preferred roles
  • Entertaining exercises in recognizing the team roles of others

Why is it that many teams call themselves a team, but hardly ever really work together? That managers cannot get a handle on all the different styles and personalities in the team ? And that the team members are only annoyed by the difference of others and desperately wonder why no one understands what they understand.

You have to be willing, able and daring to work together. It means that you look for shared goals and interests , that you have insight into what everyone is good at, and that you know how to make all those different talents productive - at the right time and in the right place.

The Belbin model emphasizes the importance of diversity of characters in the team , of properly dividing roles and attuning personalities to group tasks. It clarifies what each person's best role and contribution to a team can be, and shows how, with the help of these insights, ordinary people can achieve extraordinary results.

What can you expect?

You will become acquainted with the model in a practical way, analyze your own roles, and experience its content and operation in an active and entertaining way.

Made up of lectures, various exercises and an intervision round about the many practical applications of the model. Intended for anyone who works in a team, leads a team, as well as anyone who professionally guides, advises or coaches teams.
